About us
Welcome to Protyasha’s web page. Portyasha has come into being out of the need for a staging of home in the abroad. Expatriates of Bangladesh in Finland have, so far, been the vital force behind Protyasha. It is about the small Bangladesh from the freezing North of the globe with its longing for the warm and sweet home. Protyasah is, therefore, about the hopes and aspirations of a nation. Here Protyasha wishes to glorify itself by dedicating itself and all of its activities to the Bangladeshi Diasporas all over the globe.

Protyasha is a stage where we play the home the way it is when we are not at home. Protyasha is a mirror the way it picks the bits and pieces of a life lived far away from the home. Protyasha is also about the way we see things - of a bird’s eye view to a Bangladesh in a different space, in a different reality plain, where almost all the major ideas, thoughts and actions of a great nation in making are in constant flux.

Protyasha has managed to survive quite many odds during this short period of time just due to the love and support that it has received from almost all the Bangladeshi living in Finland. Protyasha, as a collective effort, has managed to observe the Victory Day, the Independence Day, the Language Movement Day (International Mother Tongue Day) and the Bengali New Years Day since the 16th of December 2000. In this primary phase, Protyasha has been observing the major national events and days with utmost conviction. The aim is to create an atmosphere of active interaction among Bangladeshis living in Finland.

Protyasha as a body is insignificant but as a community effort it is exemplary. Protyasha is fully committed to its causes; therefore, it has the conviction to be objective in its actions. We appreciate any suggession, idea from you that may be a shaping factor to Protyasha's endevour.
